OL2000: Schedule+ Data Is Not Deleted from Server. (236173)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

This article was previously published under Q236173

SYMPTOMS

The Custom Installation Wizard (CIW) allows users to customize Outlook installations. During the installation of Outlook from a CIW custom package it is possible to import Schedule+ data into Outlook by specifying the following registry key entry in CIW option.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Import

   Value Name:	ImportDetection
   Value Type:	DWORD
   Value Data:	1 = Prompt user to import Schedule+ information
       		2 = Import Schedule+ information without prompting
                    user

If the Outlook installation is done multiple times, duplicate schedules are created because the Schedule+ data is not deleted from the server and is imported each time the CIW runs.
