You cannot recall an e-mail message in Outlook 2000 if the e-mail message was sent from Outlook 98 (235594)

When you try to recall a message sent from Microsoft Outlook 98 to a recipient who uses Microsoft Outlook 2000, the recall is unsuccessful.
CAUSE
Outlook messages use a special message format to indicate the recall message. This format was changed in Outlook 2000, and therefore Outlook 2000 does not recognize the earlier format.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1). To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
