Unable to Refresh Modal or Modeless Dialog Boxes (235304)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to refresh a Web page that contains a modal or a modeless dialog box or boxes, the dialog box or boxes may not refresh. Also, this behavior may occur even if these dialog boxes previously refreshed properly in Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Internet Explorer does not support this functionality. This functionality was available in Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2 because of a design error, and is not supported.
