OL2000: Script Error Using the Office Supplies/Equipment Requisition Form for Outlook (235031)

SYMPTOMS

When using the "Office Supplies/Equipment Requisition Form for Outlook" you may receive the following error when you post the form and send a mail message to your manager for approval:
Script Error
Outlook cannot do this action on this type of attachment.

CAUSE

Your default mail format is set to HTML. This causes the attachment procedures to fail in the script.

RESOLUTION

Switch your default mail format to either Plain Text, or Microsoft Outlook Rich Text format.

To Change Your Default Mail Format

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Mail Format tab, click to select Plain Text or Microsoft Outlook Rich Text, from the Send in this message format list.
  3. Click OK.
