OL2000: Deleting Contact Activities Links Deletes Items (234693)

When you delete links on the Activities page for a contact, the actual item is deleted.
CAUSE
The activities listed on the Activities page for a contact are not a link; they are the actual item.
RESOLUTION
If you have deleted items you may be able to recover them from the Deleted Items folder by moving them back to the appropriate folder.

A Contacts field on all Outlook item types allows the association of the items with a contact or multiple contacts. The contact is associated using the Contact button, or automatically if the item is created using
the Contact Actions menu. The Activities tab displays all items that are associated with a contact in this way. The Activities tab also uses the contact's e-mail address to find e-mail sent to, or received from the contact.
