SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to connect to a Web site using Internet Explorer, you may receive the following error message:
Socks5 Cram authentication. Enter the user name.
If you type a user name, you may receive the following error message:
Ace login required. Enter password.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if Aventail virtual private network (VPN) Client version 2.43.s is installed.
