SUMMARY

Applications that require the Sybase SQL Server Database Management System and Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) version 4.0 or Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) version 2.0 should use the Connect ODBC for Sybase Driver version 3.5 from Merant plc (Micro Focus Group changed its name to Merant after acquiring Intersolv, Inc.). This version requires Sybase client 11.1.1 EBF8060 or later.

MORE INFORMATION

Although the driver is only available from Merant, Sybase supports it. According to the Merant Web site, the new version of the ODBC driver is thread-safe and MTS-compliant.

NOTE: There is a workstation version with the same DLLs. It is limited to five concurrent connections and can cause the Web server to stop responding.
