  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server

This article was previously published under Q232295

SUMMARY

The /ispriv, /ispub and /ds command-line options have been eliminated in Exchange 2000 Server. In Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, the names and locations of the information store and directory databases are obtained from the registry. With the changes introduced in Exchange 2000 Server (Active Directory and multiple database support, and so on), these command-line options are obsolete. You must now specify the database name when running Eseutil.exe. For example:

c:\exchsrvr\bin>eseutil /d c:\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb
