XL2000: Control Names Change When Workbook Saved as Web Page and Reopened (231104)

When you open your workbook, the names of some of the controls on your worksheet have changed.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true: - Your worksheet contains an ActiveX control.
-and-
- You have changed the name of the control to a name that includes a blank space.
-and-
- You save your workbook in the HTML file format.
The problem becomes evident when you reopen the HTML file in Microsoft Excel.
WORKAROUND
When you place ActiveX controls on your worksheet, do not use a blank space if you rename them.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
