To view your computer's CPU speed, open the Microsoft System Information tool, and then open the Windows Report tool. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Information.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Windows Report Tool.
  3. On the Options menu, click Collected Information. The CPU speed is displayed under COMPSPEED.
