PRB: Web Server Requires Updated JScript.dll (230314)

SYMPTOMS

When you view a Web page with Scripting Object Model (SOM) enabled in a browser, the following error message may appear:
The Web server requires JScript.dll version 4.0.0.2405 or greater

CAUSE

SOM requires JScript.dll 4.0.0.2405 or later. The above error occurs when the Web server does not have an updated JScript.dll.

RESOLUTION

You may update your Jscript.dll by installing the Visual InterDev Server Side Components from Visual Studio 6.0 CD #2 or Visual InterDev 6.0 CD #1. Simply run Setup.exe from the Vid_ss directory.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
