Pandora Directive: Unable to Move Smoothly While in Movement Mode (230015)

SYMPTOMS

When you play Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive, you may be unable to move smoothly in the game while you are in Movement mode.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if either of the following conditions are true:

  • Your computer is based on a slow processor (CPU).

  • An older video adapter is installed in your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use one or more of the following methods:

Adjust the Size of the Action Window

To adjust the size of the Action window, press any of the number keys on the main part of your keyboard while you are in Movement mode.

To display the smallest Action window, press the 1 key.

NOTE: Do not press the number keys on the numeric keypad of your keyboard.

Adjust Your Monitor's Rendering Quality

To adjust your monitor's rendering quality, press the F2 key, the F3 key, or the F4 key.

For the lowest quality rendering, press F4.

Adjust the Mouse Speed

To adjust the mouse speed, press the F10 key, the F11 key, or the F12 key.

For the slowest mouse speed, press F12.
