SYMPTOMS

When you view your hard disk in Windows Explorer, the volume label may be missing.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you format your hard disk during a Windows session and assign it a volume label without restarting your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, restart your computer.
