Mustek Datasource Does Not Work in Windows 2000 (228069)

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade from Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 on a computer with a Mustek Datasource 600 III EP or Mustek 1200 III SP SCSI scanner, you may not be able to scan. When you start scanning, the software appears to be processing the image, but the preview and scan functions do not work. Another symptom is that you may be unable to quit the scanning software.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Mustek scanner is using Windows NT 4.0 drivers, which are incompatible with Windows 2000.
