Sndvol32.exe Does Not Indicate That Digital PHAT Is Enabled (227773)

After installing your Aureal Digital PHAT card on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000, when you open Sndvol32.exe to examine settings for it, you discover that although the Enable Digital Phat check box is not selected, it is actually enabled.
CAUSE
The Aureal Digital PHAT card is enabled by default, but Sndvol32.exe does not initially recognize that it is.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, click to select the Enable Digital Phat check box.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
