SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to set up an online meeting using Microsoft NetMeeting while working in offline mode, you may get the following error message when you attempt to send the meeting request:
The NetMeeting alias (e-mail name) contains unrecognized characters. It can contain letters, numbers and some common symbols. Please try again.
CAUSE
The meeting organizer's e-mail address is not resolved properly when working offline.
RESOLUTION
Send the meeting request while working online.
