OL2000: WinCE: Direct-booked Resources Not Supported in Outlook Meeting Requests (224882)

SYMPTOMS

Outlook allows you to book resources directly in meeting requests. When these meeting requests are synchronized with a Handheld PC using Windows CE Services versions 2.2 or earlier, the resource may be removed from the meeting location field, and may be changed from a resource to a required attendee.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft intends to fix this problem in an upcoming release of Windows CE Services 2.3. The update should be available some time after Microsoft Office 2000 is released. Information about the update will be available on the Windows CE Web site at:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
