OL2000: Net Folder Changes Not Added to Journal (223924)

SYMPTOMS

If you click to select Journal events for this folder, on the Sharing tab of a Net Folder Properties dialog box, changes to the folder are not added to Journal.

CAUSE

If you click to select, Journal events for this folder, only permission level changes for members and member terminations are added to Journal. The Help tip is wrong when it states, "Records in the journal all changes to items in the folder."

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
