SYMPTOMS

When adding a contact that was created with a custom form, duplicates of that contact are not detected and the information from the new contact is lost.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Outlook cannot detect duplicate contacts if the new contact was created using a custom contact form.
