XL2000: Error Message: Cannot Access Read-Only Document <Filename> (223808)

ERROR MESSAGE

When you save your file, you receive the following error message
Cannot access read-only document filename.
where filename is the name of the file that you are attempting to save.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you save your file to a network drive and you don't have sufficient permissions to save your file to that drive.

THINGS TO TRY

To work around this problem, save the file to your hard disk. Then, you may be able to copy the file to the network drive.

Contact your network administrator to obtain the appropriate permissions so that you can save your Excel files on the network.
