OL2000: Date Shown in the Sent: Field of the Original Message Header is Gregorian English (223638)

SYMPTOMS

When replying to or forwarding a message in the Arabic language version of Outlook, the Sent field in the header of the original message is always shown as a Gregorian English calendar type, even if the system calendar is set to Hijri.

CAUSE

The option Use English for message headers on replies and forwards is selected by default.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, on the Tools menu, click Options. On the Mail format tab, click International options, and click to clear the Use English for message headers on replies and forwards check box.
