SYMPTOMS

When you use the Advanced Find feature in Outlook 2000 to search for messages in the Sent Items folder by using the Sent To field as criteria, messages that meet the specified criteria are not found.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, modify your search to look for different criteria of the message, such as the message subject or body.
