The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

This article was previously published under Q222247
NOTE: The procedures in this article only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. With this option, you can use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, click About Microsoft Outlook on the Help menu. If you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation, you see "Corporate or Workgroup".

SYMPTOMS

When you begin using Outlook to send and receive mail on a cc:Mail post office, you notice that the cc:Mail Service Tools are not immediately available on the Tools menu.

CAUSE

The cc:Mail Service Tools are not frequently used commands when Outlook is used as a client for cc:Mail.

RESOLUTION

If you don't see the command, move the pointer over the chevrons at the bottom of the Tools menu until the menu expands to display all commands.

MORE INFORMATION

The placement of menu commands in Office 2000 programs is based on how much each command is used. Most users who use Outlook with cc:Mail use the cc:Mail Service Tools initially for import of Private List, Personal Folders, and Bulletin Boards from the post office, but do not subsequently use them as often as other commands.
