SUMMARY

This article provides a list of the registry entries created by the installation of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 6.0.

When Visual SourceSafe 6.0 is removed using the Add/Remove tool in Control Panel, all of these registry settings are removed. To verify that they have been removed:
  1. On the Start menu, click Run.
  2. Type regedit in the Open: text box.
  3. Click OK.
Microsoft does not recommend that you modify the registry. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
