WD2000: Deleted Table Appears in Web Page with Track Changes (220197)

SYMPTOMS

When you have a document containing a table and:
  • You turn on Track changes while editing. -and-

  • You turn off Highlight changes on screen. -and-

  • You delete the table. -and-

  • You view the document as a Web page (on the File menu, click Web Page Preview).
The table appears in Web Page Preview as if it had never been deleted.

NOTE: To turn on Track changes while editing:
  1. On the Tools menu, point to Track Changes and then click Highlight Changes.
  2. Click to select the Track changes while editing check box.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, you can accept or reject changes before previewing or saving the document as a Web page. To accept or reject changes, on the Tools menu, point to Track Changes and then click Accept or Reject Changes.
