When you use a drag-and-drop operation to create a hyperlink from a page in the web in the Folder list to the current page in HTML view, you receive the text of the URL rather than the HTML code for a hyperlink.
RESOLUTION
To use a drag-and-drop operation to create a link on the open page in Page view, click the Normal tab, and then use a drag-and-drop operation to create the hyperlink.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
