FP2000: Border Style Not Visible for Banner Ads, Hover Buttons, or Other Java Applets (220003)

SYMPTOMS

When you add a border style to a hover button, banner ad, or any other Java applet in HTML view, the border is not visible in Normal view, but it is visible in your Web browser (if your Web browser supports cascading style sheets).

CAUSE

The border style for Java applets (which include banner ads and hover buttons) is not WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) in FrontPage.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
