FP2000: Cannot Create Link to Cascading Style Sheet by Using Drag-and-Drop Operation (219858)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the drag-and-drop operation to create a link to a cascading style sheet, a standard hyperlink (<a href>) is created, rather than a style sheet link (<link>).

CAUSE

Some software supports the creation of style sheet links to cascading style sheets through the drag-and-drop operation; however, FrontPage 2000 does not support this feature at this time.

RESOLUTION

To create a link to a cascading style sheet, follow these steps:
  1. On the Format menu, click Style Sheet Links.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Navigate to your .css file, and then click OK.
  4. Click OK.
