SYMPTOMS

When you select Baseline for the vertical alignment of a cell, the text in the cell is not displayed properly in Normal view.

CAUSE

In FrontPage, the baseline attribute for vertical alignment of cells is not WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get).

RESOLUTION

To view the text properly, click the Preview tab in FrontPage, or preview your page in the browser.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
