FrontPage moves the tag to the header section of the HTML code when you insert a tag into the body section of the HTML code (219094)

This article was previously published under Q219094

SYMPTOMS

After you insert a tag into the body section of the HTML code, FrontPage moves the tag to the header section of the HTML code.

CAUSE

FrontPage will completely preserve the code typed in a tag. However, it moves the tag to the header section of the HTML code.

Although many browsers support tags in other places in a document, FrontPage uses the World Wide Web Consortium HTML 4.0 specifications for elements.

FrontPage complies with the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) HTML 4.0 specification on the use of the element in an HTML page. According to the specification, the element must be in the
section of the document when it is present.
