Shortcut Keys Missing in Internet Explorer Setup (218769)

SYMPTOMS

When you choose the "Install minimal, or customize your browser" option during Internet Explorer 5 setup, the Custom dialog box does not have a shortcut key for the drop down list box or the tree control.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, use your pointer to click items in this dialog box, or navigate to and manipulate different parts of this dialog box by pressing TAB, the arrow keys, or the spacebar.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
