Err Msg: Spider List Is Too Long. Please Enter a Shorter List. (216943)

When you copy an exclusion list that is too long into the Usage Import Crawler list, the following error message occurs:
Spider list is too long. Please enter a shorter list
If you shorten the entries in the list by about half, the error message will not occur anymore; however, if close Usage Import and start it again, the entries that were just entered do not appear, and only the default entries, which were inserted after the installation, are visible.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the
latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the
