SYMPTOMS

A Site Server Content Deployment project that contains spaces in the name does not run manually when scheduled.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the scheduler application does not automatically enclose the name of the project in quotation marks.

WORKAROUND

Use one of the following workarounds:

If you must run a replication on a schedule, do not use spaces in the project name.

-OR-

In the Scheduled Tasks application, edit the task so that the project name is enclosed in quotation marks (for example: "C:\Microsoft Site Server\Bin\Crs.exe" startrep "test replication").

-OR-

Create a publishing project name with underscores instead of spaces.
