Memory Overrun in IIS When Querystring Is Above 0x7F (216025)

Using extended characters in queries (characters in the range above 0x7f)
causes a memory buffer to overrun for Site Server Search queries.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the
latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the
following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces): MORE INFORMATIONNote: This problem affects the handling of characters in the range
above 0x7f.
