SYMPTOMS

After you install Internet Explorer 5.0, the configuration for the Site Server Commerce Edition sample site of MS Market fails with an ASP error.

The ASP script engine has made changes in its handling of white spaces, which has resulted in a syntax error.

To work around this problem, remove the leading space before the ".value" on line 58 of Config.asp. The revised line should read as follows:

mscsPage.URL("manager/databaseid_edit.asp")%> <% = mscsPage.HTMLEncode( databaseid ("lastusedid").value) %></A></TD>
