XL2000: Header or Footer Is Not Printed in Color (214097)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel 2000, when you import a Microsoft Excel 3.0 worksheet that has colored headers and footers, and you then print the file, the headers and footers are not printed in color. The headers and footers are printed in black and white.

CAUSE

Excel 2000 does not support color selection for headers and footers.

MORE INFORMATION

You can print headers and footers in color using versions of Excel earlier than Excel 4.0. This functionality was removed in Excel 4.0 and does not exist in later versions. There are also no objects for the header or footer property in Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to do this with code.
