OL98: Error Message: Outlook Caused an IPF in Module Mso97.dll (213843)

When you browse folders using the Outlook Bar, you may receive the following error message:
Outlook caused an invalid page fault in MSO97.dll
CAUSE
This error message may occur when there are damaged shortcuts in the Outlook Bar.
RESOLUTION
To rebuild the Outlook Bar, start Outlook with the /resetoutlookbar command-line option. To do this, follow these steps:
NOTE: Rebuilding the Outlook Bar removes any custom shortcuts. - Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type:
Outlook.exe /resetoutlookbar
There is a space character between Outlook and the forward slash (/).
- Click OK.
If the above steps do not resolve the problem, exit Outlook, search for and rename the Views.dat file, and then restart Outlook. As a last resort, create a new profile.
