PS/2 Mouse Does Not Respond on Compaq Armada 7800 Docking Station (211246)

SYMPTOMS

When you use a PS/2-type mouse on a Compaq Armada 7800 docking station, the mouse may not respond.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the computer's basic input/output system (BIOS) is set not to allow multiple pointing devices.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, change the computer's CMOS settings to allow multiple pointing devices. For information about changing CMOS settings on your computer, please refer to the computer's documentation or manufacturer.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
