SUMMARY

In Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Performance Monitor, the line for the selected counter changes its color to white if you press the BACKSPACE key in Chart view. Windows 2000 includes the System Monitor tool instead of Performance Monitor, and pressing BACKSPACE in System Monitor does not have any effect. To highlight the line for the selected counter in System Monitor, press CTRL+H.

MORE INFORMATION

System Monitor is a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. The BACKSPACE key is reserved for MMC.

Note that you can run Performance Monitor for Windows NT 4.0 by typing perfmon.exe at a command prompt.
