SYMPTOMS

When you quit a round in Microsoft Golf 1999 Edition, a black screen may be displayed instead of the startup screen.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your Microsoft Windows color palette setting is 256 colors.

  1. Press ALT+F4 to quit Golf 99.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Display.
  4. Click the Settings tab.
