WD2000: Frame Page Opens in Normal View (210049)

SYMPTOMS

When you open a frame page (a subdocument of a frame set), the frame page opens in normal view.

NOTE: This problem only occurs after you save your frame pages (frame set) as a Web page (on the File menu, click Save as Web Page).

WORKAROUND

To change the view of the frame page, follow these steps:
  1. Open the frame page.
  2. On the View menu, click Web Layout.
  3. Make a change to the frame page, and on the File menu, click Save.

    NOTE: If you do not make a change to the frame page, the change to Web layout view will not be saved.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
