Updated Information in New Folder in My Briefcase Is Gone (207923)

SYMPTOMS

If you start My Briefcase, view the properties for a folder, and then click the Update Info tab, clicking any of the other tabs causes the file type information on the Update Info tab not to be displayed.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, close the folder's properties and then view them again.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
