PUB2000: Printing a Single Section or Tile of a Banner or Poster (207616)

This article was previously published under Q207616 SUMMARY
Because Publisher has the ability to do tile printing, you can
print pages that are larger than a single sheet of paper. To print
posters and banners, you can use tile printing and then trim and tape
the sheets of paper together. Using this method, you can print posters
of up to 20 feet by 20 feet in size.
Occasionally, you may want to print or reprint only a portion of your
banner or poster. For example, if a single page was printed incorrectly or
was jammed in the printer, you may need to reprint the page. To print only
one section of your poster or banner, follow these steps:
- Drag the zero-point on the rulers so that they intersect at the upper-left corner of the page you want to print. To do this, follow these steps:
- Position the mouse pointer in the upper-left corner where the two rulers intersect, until you see the two-headed arrow.
- Press SHIFT and drag with the right mouse button to where you want the zero points to be.
- On the File menu, click Print.
- Select any printing options you want. Click Tile Printing Options.
- In the Tile Printing Options dialog box, under Options, click Print One Tile From Ruler Origin. Click OK.
Publisher will print the page of your poster or banner that begins at the
point you specified.
