SYMPTOMS

If you use DriveSpace 3 to compress drive C on a computer on which the System Command 2000 boot manager software by V Communications is installed, you receive the following error message when you reboot the computer:

CAUSE

The System Commander 2000 system files must reside on the host drive, not the compressed drive.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall System Commander 2000 on the host drive for the compressed volume (typically, the host drive is drive H).
