On the AGENTS tab, select HARDWARE INVENTORY CLIENT AGENT and click RUN.

The correct procedure should read:
  1. Click the Systems Management tool in the Control Panel of the client computer.
  2. On the Components tab, click Hardware inventory, and then click Start component.
