Cannot Return to Previous Page in Kiosk Mode (201343)

SYMPTOMS

If you open a document using in-place activation (or document hosting) while Internet Explorer is running in Kiosk mode, you cannot return to the previous page by pressing the BACKSPACE key, right-clicking the page and then clicking Back, or by pressing ALT+LEFT ARROW.

CAUSE

In Kiosk mode, you must use a framed page if you are opening documents with in-place activation.
