SYMPTOMS

When you view the Channel bar, the channels may be listed in a different order than they used to be. This may occur even if you have not altered the order of the channels.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you enable the Allow all uppercase names feature on the View tab in the Folder Options tool. When you do so, the channels listed on the Channel bar are sorted by their file names instead of the visible title of the channel. For example, the visible title of the PointCast Business Network channel is "PointCast", but this channel's file name is "The PointCast Business Network", so this channel would be sorted as starting with the letter T.

STATUS

The behavior is by design.
