PRB: "Error Launching Backoffice Installation Wizard" During Visual Studio Installation (201010)

SYMPTOMS

During installation of the Visual Studio 6.0 server components, when you click Launch Backoffice Installation Wizard and then click Install, the following error may occur:

CAUSE

The error is caused because the setup program tries to copy the Launchbo.exe file into your Temp directory. It fails because there is already a file by that name.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, delete the Launchbo.exe file from the Temp directory, along with all other temp files.
