ACC2000: Cannot See All Extensions in the Files of Type List (200906)

SYMPTOMS

When you click either Microsoft Access or Data Files, in the Files of type list, for the following dialog boxes you cannot see the entire list of extensions for Microsoft Access or Data Files:

Open
Export <object name>
Import
Link

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

*.mdb; *.adp; *.mdw; *.mda; *.mde; *.ade

The complete list of extensions for Data Files is:

*.mdb; *.adp; *.mdw; *.mda; *.mde; *.ade; *.txt;
*.csv; *.tab; *.asc; *.xls; *.dbf; *.db
