To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate Workgroup installation.

SUMMARY

Microsoft Outlook supports using one-off e-mail addresses (typing an address directly into the To, Cc, or Bcc fields of a message) with Lotus cc:Mail support.

This article discusses the proper format for one-off e-mail addresses with cc:Mail.

MORE INFORMATION

Two different formats are required depending upon the location of the message recipient.

Recipient Located on a Local cc:Mail Postoffice (Intranet)

The one-off address format for a recipient located on a local cc:Mail postoffice is as follows:

[CCMAIL:<user name> at <server name>] (Brackets required)

Example: [CCMAIL:Joe at xyz]

Recipient Located Outside of the cc:Mail System (Internet)

The one-off address format for a recipient located outside of the cc:Mail system follows the Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) form, plus the name of the cc:Mail gateway to the Internet, as follows:

[CCMAIL:<user name>@<server name>.com at <gateway>] (Brackets required)

Example: [CCMAIL:JJones@abc.com at INTERNET]

In this example, INTERNET is the name of the Internet mail gateway for the cc:Mail postoffice.
